You won’t have to play catch-up if you review your lessons while you have the luxury of time.

Not to rain on your parade, but suspension of classes – whether by force of nature or by virtue of a national holiday – should not stop you from doing schoolwork. In fact, you must take advantage of it by reviewing your lessons from the past week at the very least, say the tutors of AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center.

The best thing about reviewing on a “free” day is that you will never feel any pressure. Unlike those days and nights when you would review for an exam, reviewing when classes are suspended is more relaxing. Perhaps this is because you know you’re doing yourself a favor. Instead of sleeping in, playing video games, or watching movies, you spend a couple of hours reviewing your lessons.

Of course, you must also enjoy the bonus day. Give yourself a reward after spending at least two hours reviewing. One guaranteed reward is that you will be ready for any possible surprise quiz when classes resume. Then give yourself another reward by doing what you want for the day.

If you look at it, a day off from class means you have to catch up on lessons lost. However, you won’t have to play catch-up if you review your lessons while you have the luxury of time.
