To have full concentration during class, get rid of all distractions.

Yoda and Obi Wan Kenobi, two great Jedi masters from the Star Wars movie series, would always say “Use the force” whenever Luke Skywalker finds it hard to concentrate. The “force” is a special mind power used by Jedis to control their enemies’ minds or move inanimate objects. Of course, you don’t have such power to keep your focus in class. But it doesn’t hurt to imagine yourself a Jedi if you want good grades at the end of the school year.

To have full concentration during class, get rid of all distractions, advise the tutors of AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center. Your mobile phone is the top source of disruption. Other things that might cause unnecessary interruption are music players, portable game consoles, and tablets.

Take a seat in front. This is the no-distraction zone. Nobody will dare tap you on the shoulder or whisper something. It’s where you can hear your teacher more clearly and make eye contact with her, making it easier to understand the lecture.

Participate in class. Answer your teacher’s questions. Ask questions. Raise an issue and start a discussion.

It doesn’t hurt to imagine yourself being a Jedi every time you enter the classroom. Studying can be fun this way. If you need extra help, then sign up for academic tutorials with AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center. Focus on your goal of getting good grades. May the force be with you!
