AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center welcomed its summer college entrance test review students for the UPCAT Refresher Course held last August 2, 2015 at the Megatrade Hall of SM Megamall. Apart from providing students with valuable test taking tips and techniques, the UPCAT Refresher Course also hopes to boost their confidence by sharing with them inspiring stories from others who have taken the UPCAT and passed this most challenging of exams.
Students from AHEAD’s different branches trooped to SM Megamall to hear review pointers from AHEAD’s most popular lecturers, including Catherine Joy Dela Cruz, a graduate of the University of the Philippines with a fascination for Plasma Physics; Regine Pinacate, an avid traveller and reader who is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Education in UP; and Raymond Cagampan, a cum laude graduate from the state university.
In between the lectures were games and testimonials. Student hosts Christian Arranz and Irina Deleña kept the energy level high by sharing their own campus anecdotes. In her opening speech, AHEAD Learning & Development Manager Rina Golez welcomed the students and encouraged them to do their very best in the UPCAT. In her inspirational speech, AHEAD President Rossana L. Llenado shared precious insights from her experience running review programs for the past 20 years.
By the end of the course, the students were in high spirits, confident that they will be able to take the UPCAT with grace and ease.
