AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center’s SMART READING and MIND MAPPING FAMILY WORKSHOP will be held at G/F Philippine Plans Building, Triangle Drive, Fort Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig City.
The enormous amount of information that a person needs to process every single day can be overwhelming. Weekly reports need to be prepared by office workers, textbooks need to be understood by students, and news and reviews need to be grasped by consumers and homemakers. If a person doesn’t have the ability to deal with such volumes of information, then he might find himself lagging behind at work, at school, or at home.
That’s why AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center’s SMART READING and MIND MAPPING FAMILY WORKSHOP comes at a most appropriate time. Scheduled on December 15, 2012 (Saturday) at AHEAD Global City, the workshop features a Smart Reading Module from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and a Mind Mapping Session from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Through the Smart Reading Module, the participant will learn how to read faster. He will also be taught speed reading techniques that will enhance his comprehension skills, enabling him to read smarter as well. Students can go through their lessons faster. Parents and professionals can squeeze more reading into their busy schedules.
The average reading speed in the United States is only 200 to 300 words per minute. However, US studies have documented reading speeds of up to 3,000 words per minute.
Through the Mind Mapping Session, the participant will learn how to visually summarize information by associating ideas and concepts. Mind-mapping can be used in note-taking, brainstorming, problem solving, making presentations, and managing projects. It has been proven effective in improving memory, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center’s SMART READING and MIND MAPPING FAMILY WORKSHOP will be held at G/F Philippine Plans Building, Triangle Drive, Fort Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig City. Workshop fees for children eight to 18 years old are pegged at P3,500 and for parents, P4,000.
