Entering the University of the Philippines Law School is on the bucket list of every aspiring lawyer or politician. Even with the university’s reputation of having a more affordable tuition fee, it may still cause financial burden to some families. This is where the Juris Doctor of Law scholarship comes to play. This scholarship is offered to any UP student who has majored in any of the prelaw courses (either as a Bachelor of Arts or Science)

  • Political Science
  • Philosophy
  • English
  • Economics
  • History

The student must also have the minimum units for the following subjects:

  • English (12 units)
  • History and/or Economics (9 units)
  • Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology or Sociology (9 units)
  • Course on Rizal (3 units)

The student must take the Law Aptitude Examination (LAE) and pass in order to avail of the scholarship.

To help with the scholarship grants, the aspiring lawyer needs to take the LAE in order to impress the UP School of Law. To help with this dream, AHEAD has the tools needed to do so.
