A good deal of emphasis was placed on the importance of strictly following given schedules as well as sticking to the proper dress code and behavior.

AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center, the country’s leading learning center, recently held an orientation seminar for newly-hired tutors with the objective of teaching them how to facilitate tutorial sessions the best way—the AHEAD way.

Attended by 25 newly-hired full-time and part-time teaching personnel at the main office of AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center in Quezon City, the orientation seminar was headed by Teacher Kristine Tria, a full-time tutor and member of the organization’s Client Relations Department.

A substantial part of program was dedicated to guiding tutors on how they should conduct a tutorial session. Some of the topics include the tutor’s role as a model, tutoring techniques and activities, and different tutorial tools. Workshops were also held placing the tutors in different scenarios that he might find himself in.

While discussing AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center’s policies and guidelines for tutors, a good deal of emphasis was placed on the importance of strictly following given schedules as well as sticking to the proper dress code and behavior.

The seminar ended with AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center President Rossana L. Llenado encouraging the tutors to always give their best to every session, and reminding them of the usefulness of Mind Mapping and Smart Reading not just in their tutorial sessions, but also in their everyday lives.
