What better way to spend your Saturday than by taking a learning workshop with the whole family? AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center, the country’s most awarded learning center, will be having a SMART READING and MIND MAPPING FAMILY WORKSHOP on December 15, 2012 (Saturday) at AHEAD Global City. The workshop features a Smart Reading Module from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and a Mind Mapping Session from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The benefits of this special workshop are many. Parents and professionals will be able to absorb and process more information and at a faster rate. This will be helpful to them especially as they juggle the demands of career and home. Students will not only be able to read at a faster pace, they will also be able to comprehend concepts and ideas much better. Such skills will help them get better grades in school as they will be able to accomplish assignments and quizzes with ease and efficiency.
In the Smart Reading Module, participants will be taught speed reading techniques. They will also be given tips to improve their reading comprehension skills. In the Mind Mapping Session, participants will learn how to summarize information graphically by associating ideas and concepts. Mind-mapping has been proven effective in improving memory, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
