If you’re thinking of sending your child to college abroad, then it’s time to help him get started on his SAT review. The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is a standardized test taken by students who want to be admitted to colleges and universities in the United States. Aimed at assessing a student’s college readiness, the SAT has three main sections: Mathematics, Critical Reading, and Writing.
Help your child create a SAT study plan by first looking at the schedules. Determine when he is taking the SAT and then work backwards, allotting three to four months for his review. A long-term review is better than a short-term one because it gives him time to clarify subjects which he does not fully understand.
There are various review options available. He could study on his own, supported by SAT review materials and reference books. There are also apps available online which could help. Some students, however, prefer one-on-one review sessions like those provided by the tutors of AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center. These review sessions are complemented by practice tests, which could help in making students better test takers.
Do you also offer a small group review for SAT? What is the rate for a one-on-one review and a small group review?
Hi Althea!
We already have scheduled SAT classes in our Global City and Robinsons Galleria branches. You may want to enroll in those classes with your friends so you can study as a group and meet new friends as well! We also have one-on-one programs for SAT. You may call our branches for more information and for your preferred schedule.
Thank you.
