In September 2017, AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center celebrates its 22nd anniversary. Two score and two years of delivering excellence, inspiring leadership, and generating responsibility within and among Filipino learners. But before we jump ahead into the next year, let’s first take a pause, rewind, and take a look at some of our highlights from the past 22 years.
Leading and Pioneering AHEAD
As an establishment known for leading and pioneering, we were one of the first local companies to break new ground and venture into online tutorial services by developing AHEAD Online, an online learning platform designed specifically to seamlessly work with the use of a video-conferencing platform. Apart from that, we were also the first in the review course industry to offer diagnostic tests; providing, for the first time, test-based reviews for the top college admission exams. What’s more, the first in the Philippines to publish an UPCAT review book, offer tutorial and review services in a mall, organize the first school fair-in-a-mall, as well as win the the prestigious Gold Quill for Marketing Communication from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) as a small company, was none other than us, AHEAD. Determining, over and over again, that AHEAD certainly blazed the trail for supplementary education in the country.
Consistently and Exceptionally AHEAD
AHEAD then went on to heartily thrive through the years. Continuing to provide the best tutorial and review services available, constant in our commitment to produce the best learners and leaders in the country. 11 years ago, we gifted review scholarships to numerous students from 40 public high schools. In that same year, all of AHEAD’s first review students passed the UPCAT. Since then, we kept the candle burning, consistently maintaining the highest CET passing rates. We’ve also gone on to receive multiple accolades and recognitions, including being named “Most Outstanding Tutorial and Review Center” and “Most Outstanding Learning Center” by all five national consumer groups. As of today, our total has risen up to 33 awards, establishing us as the most awarded company throughout the entire industry.
Expanding and Advancing AHEAD
Over the years, AHEAD has grown into more branches and franchises, furthering our reach with multiple locations such as Quezon City, Alabang, Antipolo, Baguio, Makati, and Tuguegarao. Moreover, we have also gone further to develop multiple brands. In addition to the aforementioned AHEAD Online, we also have AHEAD Books and Things, AHEAD Professional, and YuXin. By expanding AHEAD into other programs, we were able to cater to a larger market of adults and professionals, providing much needed services to older learners. Not one to let the flames die out, AHEAD continues on; constantly broadening our horizons, motivated to ensure that Filipino learners will always be able to access the quality of education that they deserve.
As we advance—stronger than ever—into our 22nd year, we recall the vision we aim to maintain, the mission that we continue to work towards: “As one of the world’s leading providers of supplementary education services producing globally competitive learners, we provide learners around the globe with high-quality, innovative programs that will change the way they perceive education and enable them to achieve their goals as we promote Filipinos as world-class teachers and professionals.” Remembering that it is this passionate essence, the heart of our company, that inspires us to take AHEAD further.
